King Slinky Cards
The inspiration for the King Slinky Cards came from the Artist, Nicole S J Rankin's love of the photographer Harry Whittier Freese (1879 -1953) and his depiction of animals in clothing. You may remember some of the beautiful and unusual post cards of kittens and ducks at the turn of the century? Having studied photography at University and trying out the technique on her beloved farm cat Gemini, she knew the impracticalities of getting Slinky to wear a batman outfit or ride a horse!
So with the use of computer technology, Slinky and his house cat family can be dressed in anything, doing anything and be anywhere.
